1 :- Deepak, Ram and Saurav were partners sharing profits in the ratio of 1/2, 2/5 and 1/10. Find the new ratio profit sharing ratio of the remaining partners if Saurav dies.
Solution :- Deepak and Ram ill share Saurav’s share in their old ratio I.e, 5:4.
Deepak = 5/10 – (1/10 x 5/9) = 5/10 + 5/90 = 50/90
Ram = 4/10 – (1/10 x 4/9) = 4/10 + 4/90 = 40/90
New profit sharing ratio of Deepak and Ram is 5:4.
