Calculate Navita’s share of profit.
Solution :- Calculation of Navita’s share in profit
Profit sharing ratio of Dinkar, Navita and Vani = 3:2:1
Navita died on 30th June, 2024
Sales of the firm upto 30th June 2024 = Rs 6,00,000
The rate of profit on sales is 10%
Profit (1st April – 30th June) = 6,00,000 x 10/100
= Rs 60,000
Navita’s share in profit = 60,000 x 2/6
= Rs 20,000
