5 :- Sarthak, Vansh and Mansi were partners sharing profits in the ratio of 4:3:2. Sarthak retires. Vansh and Mansi will share future profits in the ratio of 2:1. Determine the gaining ratio.
Solution :-
Old ratio = 4:3:2
Sarthak retires and his share is distributed among Vansh and Mansi in 3:2
Calculation of their gaining ratio
New ratio – old ratio
Vansh =2/3 – 3/9 = 9/27
Mansi = 1/3 – 2/9 = 3/27
Therefore, their gaining ratio is 3:1
